UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Self-driving vehicles will be the focus of the next Research Unplugged discussion at 12:30 p.m. on March 24 at Schlow Centre Region Library.
Sean Brennan, associate professor of mechanical engineering and director of the University's Intelligent Vehicles and Systems Group, will present "Look Ma, No Hands! The Future of Self-Driving Cars." Brennan will talk about the advantages of autonomous vehicles and the barriers that must be overcome before they can become a reality.
The event is free and open to the public.
