UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Congressional candidates vying to represent Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives will debate at Penn State’s University Park campus on Saturday, Oct. 15.
WPSU Penn State will host the “Race for the 5th” U.S. House debate between Rep. Glenn Thompson, the Republican incumbent who represents Pennsylvania’s fifth congressional district, and Democrat challenger Kerith Strano Taylor. The 60-minute debate, moderated by WPSU senior producer Patty Satalia, will be held at the WPSU studios at Innovation Park at 7 p.m.
The debate will air live on WPSU-TV and WPSU-FM, and will be streamed live on wpsu.org/live and the WPSU Facebook page. The event is free and open to the public, and pre-registration is required. The public can register for tickets and/or submit questions for the candidates at the WPSU Penn State website.
