A screening of the film "Crazy Rich Asians" will be held as part of the "Confronting Cinematic Stereotypes" course at Penn State Schuylkill.

This non-credit course is $30 for community members and free for faculty and staff members (code included in the campus newsletter).

"Crazy Rich Asians" follows Chinese-American Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) and her boyfriend Nick (Henry Golding) on their travels to his best friend's wedding in his Singapore hometown where secrets are revealed. Based on a book by Kevin Kwan, the film reflects on the immigrant experience through a class-based lens.
