The Intouchables is based on the true story and friendship of Phillipe Bozzo di Borgo and Abdel Sellou. The film addresses the trials of immigration while unpacking the complex rapport between Phillipe (Francois Cluzet), a quadriplegic businessman, and Driss (Omar Sy), his African-French caregiver. The award-winning film made over 425 million dollars at the box office and set record ticket sales worldwide.
