A screening of the film "Rocky" will be held as part of the "Confronting Cinematic Stereotypes" course at Penn State Schuylkill.

This non-credit course is $30 for community members, and free for faculty and staff members (code included in the campus newsletter).

"Rocky" chronicles the plight of an amateur boxer from Philadelphia throughout his intense training leading up to a big match against Apollo Creed, the reigning heavyweight champ. Written by and starring Sylvester Stallone, "Rocky" launched his career as a respected actor.
