Penn State Schuylkill, in partnership with Penn State Scranton, will offer two Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) courses delivered via Zoom so participants can join from anywhere.

SHRM aims to create better workplaces where employers and employees thrive together. SHRM has established the new certification standard for the HR profession. Earning the SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP™) or SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP™) credential establishes individuals as a recognized expert in the HR field.

This SHRM certification course consists of 39 hours of classroom instruction, including a review prior to the new certification exam. In addition to the classroom experience, participants will receive SHRM Learning System materials and access to online learning, legislative updates and practice tests.
