SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. — Penn State Schuylkill celebrated student achievement during its annual Academic Program Awards Ceremony on April 27. The event recognized 57 students for outstanding academic performance across a range of degree programs and academic disciplines.
Interim Chancellor Cory Scherer spoke at the ceremony, congratulating the honorees and commending them for their hard work, commitment and academic excellence.
“This ceremony celebrates not only the students’ academic achievements, but also the dedication, resilience and passion that brought them here,” Scherer said. “Their commitment to excellence reflects the very best of Penn State Schuylkill, and we are proud to recognize the impact these students are making in their fields and in our community.”
The Academic Program Awards are presented each spring to students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement within their fields of study. Faculty members select recipients based on academic performance, leadership, and contributions to their respective programs.
This annual recognition is part of Penn State Schuylkill’s ongoing efforts to support student success and highlight the accomplishments of its diverse and high-achieving student body.
