DUNMORE, Pa. — Penn State Scranton Chancellor Marwan Wafa has announced that Coordinator of Student Activities Nikki Paolicelli is the campus' December Employee of the Month.

"Since joining our team in the fall of 2021, Nikki has made an impact not only on our office but our campus community. Nikki is dedicated to making the student experience the best. She has truly been the glue to hold pieces together, She has built on her experience as a student, and has leveraged this to guide new staff in the office," wrote Student Services and Engagement Director Matt Nied, on behalf of his team in nominating Paolicelli.

"You can always find Nikki working with our recognized clubs and organizations and THON, and she brings fresh ideas and works closely with our students to guide their organizations and assist them in achieving their goals. We appreciate all of her hard work and dedication to make the student experience the best it can be.”

Congratulations, Nikki!

The Employee of the Month recognition was initiated in 2016 by Wafa as a way of distinguishing staff members who "go above and beyond the call of duty" in serving Penn State Scranton.

Campus staff, faculty and students are encouraged to nominate staff members that deserve to be recognized for “going above and beyond.” The link for nominations can be found here: https://scranton.psu.edu/form/employee-month-nomination-form.
