UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. –– The Penn State Smeal College of Business recognized the excellence of its staff members at the 2025 Smeal Staff Awards Ceremony held on May 27 at the Nittany Lion Inn.
Six staff members were awarded Outstanding Staff Awards:
- Customer Service Award – Mandy Laub, administrative assistant in the Office of Undergraduate Education (UGE)
- Leadership Award – Autumn Hanley, academic program coordinator in the Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems
- Outstanding Staff Award – Tammy Whitehill, academic program coordinator in the Department of Accounting
- RISE Above Award – Barb Porter, academic records coordinator in UGE
- Staff Sustainability Award – JungEn Choi, academic adviser in UGE
- DEIB Champion Award – Kelly Swigert, academic adviser in UGE
In addition, another 25 staff members were recognized for 5, 10, 15, 25 and 30 years of service to the college.
