Penn State's 30th annual Family Symposium, "Family Socialization around Race, Ethnicity and Racism: Advancing Understanding of Racial and Ethnic Inequalities in the United States," will be held Oct. 24–25, either hybrid or virtual only. The Social Science Research Institute's symposium will examine the study of racial socialization in families of color and anti-racist socialization in white families, focusing on programs and policies to address the challenge of racism. Registration is required.
