Ronald J. Huss has been promoted from assistant to associate vice president for research and technology transfer, effective July 1.
Eva J. Pell, senior vice president for Research, said “Ron Huss has provided exceptional leadership during his 12-year tenure within the Research and Technology Transfer Organization (RTTO). Ron will continue to be responsible for the overall leadership of Penn State’s technology transfer organization including the Intellectual Property Office, Industrial Research Office, Innovation Park at Penn State, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central and Northern Pennsylvania. He also is responsible for the organization of, and has significant interaction with, the Penn State Research Foundation Board of Directors.”
The Penn State Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering and advancing scientific research within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and to supporting the development of inventions at Penn State.
Huss received his bachelor of arts degree in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin and his doctoral degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
