— Jessica Dirsmith, an adjunct instructor in the school psychology graduate program, was named Pennsylvania's School Psychologist of the Year for her work as a practitioner, university-level adviser and teacher, and advocate for her profession. Dirsmith also is a school psychologist with the State College Area School District.

— Mary Higgins, a doctoral candidate in curriculum and instruction, was awarded the Blumberg/Pajak Award by the Council of Professors in Instructional Supervision (COPIS) at its annual conference in Austin, Texas. The award goes to a promising young scholar in the field of school supervision.

Kelly Rosinger, assistant professor of education (higher education), wrote "Using Mobility Report Card Data to Understand What Works in Reducing Educational Inequities," a policy brief featured in the report Moving Up? What a Groundbreaking Study Tells Us about Access, Success, and Mobility in Higher Ed.
