As we conclude an unprecedented year at Penn State, the Board of Trustees would like to take a moment to say thank you to our outstanding faculty and staff for your hard work and unwavering dedication to our University.

The board recognizes the exceptional challenges and relentless workload required of every Penn State employee over the past year. Faculty reinvented courses while maintaining a focus on instructional quality, researchers had to reimagine their workspace to move our research enterprise to new heights, and staff performed the countless jobs that allowed the University to continue to serve our students.

Without you, it would have been impossible to keep our campuses across the commonwealth open and focused on providing the safest possible learning experience for all. Thank you for your good work and good will as we move forward in this uncharted territory and know that we are so proud to be part of your efforts to ensure that Penn State continues to serve our state, our nation and the world.

We wish each and every one of you a joyful and restful holiday season and we look forward to resuming our important work together in 2021.
