Changes to parking, transit services during Thanksgiving break announced

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Transportation Services has announced the following changes to campus parking and transit services during the University's Thanksgiving holiday break.

Parking

Monday, Nov. 22, to Wednesday, Nov. 24:

All normal weekday faculty, staff, student and visitor parking regulations will remain in effect.

Thursday, Nov. 25, to Friday, Nov. 26:

Weekend parking regulations will be in effect, which means that faculty/staff and student permit holders may park in all areas normally available to them during evening/weekend hours. Visitor parking will be available in the East, HUB, Nittany and West decks with the standard $1 per hour fee for vehicles without a valid permit.

Overnight restrictions between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. for the Commuter lots will remain in effect, and all reserved parking spaces such as ADA, service/delivery, etc. will remain reserved.

No service (including no Penn State blue bus Blue Loop service)

Monday, Nov. 22, to Wednesday, Nov. 24:

Reduced service

Thursday, Nov. 25:

No service

Sunday, Nov. 28:

No service (there will be Penn State blue bus Blue Loop service)
