In the March 17 edition of Penn State Today, the Photo of the Day caption mistakenly named Northwestern, instead of Northeastern, as one of the women's ice hockey teams that will play in the 2026 Frozen Four this weekend at Pegula Ice Arena. On March 20, No. 3 Penn State will face No. 2 Wisconsin, while No. 1 Ohio State will play No. 5 Northeastern. The winners will face off in the championship on March 22.
The Nittany Lions advanced to the program's first Frozen Four after defeating UConn, 3-0, in the regional final last weekend.
