UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- In honor of legendary musician Paul McCartney's first-ever performance on campus, the Penn State Berkey Creamery is introducing a new flavor in the former Beatle's honor.

The flavor, a chocolate ice cream with macadamia nuts, has been dubbed "Sir Paul Mcadamia."

Jim Brown, the Creamery's assistant manager, said the flavor was created with an eye toward McCartney's love of macadamia nuts.

"We'll have it for dipping and in half gallons for a limited time only," Brown said.

McCartney is set to perform at the Bryce Jordan Center on Oct. 15 as part of his "Out There" tour.

The Creamery is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year with special events, new flavors and other commemorations.
