UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Citizens throughout central Pennsylvania and fans attending Saturday’s Penn State-Rutgers football game are being advised that a military flyover will take place during pregame ceremonies.
A Pennsylvania Air National Guard EC-130J plane is scheduled to fly over Beaver Stadium immediately following the national anthem, at approximately 11:45 a.m.
The Nittany Lions will host the Scarlet Knights at noon Saturday, Nov. 20, for Penn State’s 10th annual Military Appreciation Game. The Beaver Stadium gates will open at 10 a.m. and the game will air on Big Ten Network, the Penn State Sports Network (10:30 a.m. airtime) and GoPSUsports.com.
