Penn State has launched a new section of its virus information website dedicated to keeping Penn State students, faculty and staff informed of the latest plans for an eventual return to classes and work on campus. Community members can visit the Back to State page for the latest information as University leaders continue to plan for a phased return to in-person activities, when warranted.
The Back to State page will continue to be updated as planning for fall 2020 continues. For overall information and a fuller picture of what Penn State is doing during this global pandemic, visit https://virusinfo.psu.edu/.
In addition, for employees, Penn State Human Resources also has launched Return to Work, a website that provides guidance for supervisors and unit leaders to prepare for returning employees to work, as well as instructions on a new authorization process that is required before any employee may resume on-site activities. No member of the University community is permitted to return to the workplace without approval from their supervisors, and employees who have been working remotely should continue to do so unless otherwise authorized.
