Rescheduled due to weather conditions in Michigan:
Austin Channing Brown will present "I'm Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness," at 7 p.m. March 28, in the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center’s Worship Hall on the University Park campus of Penn State.
Brown is a leading voice on racial justice and author of a book by the same name as the title of her talk. She is committed to exploring the intersection of racial justice, faith and black womanhood. Her voice is one of a kind, infused with justice, pop culture, humor and truth-telling.
This Penn State Student Affairs event, funded by University Park Allocation Committee's student activity fee, is co-sponsored by faith-based Penn State student organizations -- Westminster Presbyterian Fellowship, 3rd Way Collective, Lutheran Student Community and Wesley Student Foundation. The talk is also receiving support from the Paul Robeson Cultural Center, the Center for Spiritual and Ethical Development, the Gender Equity Center and the Martin Luther King Jr. commemoration.
