UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — This week, we recognize three Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University. Thank you to:
Apryl Kadish, at Penn State Fayette, whose nominator wrote: "For the past two years, Apryl has gotten mining students registered on time. All of them are adult learners. Apryl took them 'by the hand' and made sure they all got through the process in time to start in the fall semester."
Mark Oswalt, at Penn State Altoona, whose nominator wrote: "Mark preps the labs for the biology program at Penn State Altoona. He works tirelessly to make sure everything is in place for all of our lab sections, and also helped develop our new introduction to biology lab curriculum. Mark is a trusted colleague, and in my opinion, the most indispensable person in our department."
Kelli Gohn, a World Campus student, whose nominator wrote: "As the director of membership for the World Campus Blue and White Society, Kelli shares her enthusiasm with students around the world. Her intellect and generosity make all of us want to be better students and better Penn Staters!"
Do you know someone who deserves a shout-out? If you do, consider taking a minute to nominate that person by filling out a short online form. For more information about the process, visit the "We Are!" guidelines.
