Greg Tornambe, president of Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity (TEP), was named Most Outstanding Chancellor by Tau Epsilon Phi National Fraternity at its recent national meeting. Tornambe is a junior geography major from Scranton and was elected president after one semester as a brother. Tornambe said that the friendships he found at TEP changed his view of fraternities and motivated him to represent his brothers in a positive light. ââ¬ÅIt makes you feel good to know you helped dispel the entire stigma attached with fraternity life,ââ¬Â said Tornambe. ââ¬ÅThe award really means a lot to me and has helped me to realize that others really did recognize my efforts.ââ¬Â Along with the title, Tornambeââ¬â¢s award came with a $1,000 scholarship. The Epsilon Phi chapter of TEP was founded in 1962 at Penn State and is a member of the Interfraternity Council. The fraternity seeks to provide continuous service to the community.
