THON 2020: The Big Reveal

      UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State's 2020 THON has raised $11,696,942.38 for the Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital — adding to Penn State students' lasting impact in support of the fight against pediatric cancer. 

      The 48th year of THON ran from Feb. 21 to 23 as dancers stood for 46 hours without sleep at the Bryce Jordan Center.

      The funds raised by THON are used to cover the treatment costs for pediatric cancer patients as well as support cancer research.

      Since 1977, THON has raised more than $180 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital. It is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, both in revenue and volunteer participation. To learn more about the organization's impact, visit https://thon.org/our-impact/.
