RIO SUCCESS: Eight Nittany Lions earned medals at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
LGBTQ-FRIENDLY SCHOOL: Penn State was named among the top 30 schools in the nation in the 2016 Campus Pride Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning-Friendly Campus Climate Index.
IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENT: Students who are new to Penn State and all students living in University housing are reminded that they must submit their immunization records using myUHS through a a new three-step process. As part of this process, students who do not submit their immunization records by Sept. 15 will be unable to register for spring 2017 classes.
MALICIOUS EMAILS: All Penn State students, faculty and staff members are being warned of bogus emails claiming to be from delivery services. The emails contain malware attachments which, if opened, run a malicious type of program known as ransomware.
LIONPATH: Beginning Aug. 29, LionPATH will become the official student information system at Penn State.
TRANSITION MISSION: A new class being piloted at University park this semester is designed to help military veterans maximize their time at Penn State academically, professionally and personally. The course, Education 100, is open to all student veterans.
