PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE: Penn State President Eric Barron shared a message with the University community following the vandalism and subsequent theft of a Menorah from Zeta Beta Tau fraternity at University Park.
BOWL BOUND: The Nittany Lions will take on the Kentucky Wildcats at the VRBO Citrus Bowl on Jan. 1.
#GIVINGTUESDAY: During Nov. 26 and 27, the Penn State community gave more than $700,000 on Giving Tuesday.
MLK WEEK: The Martin Luther King Jr. Student Committee announced the theme for the 2019 MLK Jr. Commemoration Week at Penn State: "Where Do We Go From Here: A Tradition of Resistance." The celebration of King's life and legacy will be held Jan. 21-25.
TOWN HALLl: On Jan. 23, Penn State Provost Nick Jones will host a Town Hall meeting for the University community to discuss the University's 2016-2020 Strategic Plan, "Our Commitment to Impact." The event will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in Foster Auditorium, 102 Paterno Library, on the University Park campus, and will be live-streamed.
'BEE CAMPUS USA': Penn State has become the 55th educational institution in the nation to be certified as an affiliate of the Bee Campus USA program, designed to marshal the strength of educational campuses for the benefit of pollinators.
