A look at the week's top stories from across Penn State:

THON 2016: The 2016 Penn State Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon raised nearly $9.8 million for the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.

BUDGET IMPASSE: Nicholas Jones, Penn State's executive vice president and provost, and David Gray, senior vice president for Finance and Business, shared a message with faculty and staff about the budget stalemate in Harrisburg.

CREAMERY REOPENS: After being closed since the end of the fall 2015 semester for renovations, the Penn State Berkey Creamery reopened this week.

FULBRIGHTS: For the fourth year in a row, Penn State is on the U.S. Department of State's list of colleges and universities that produced the most Fulbright U.S. students.

STAND FOR STATE: Stand for State kicked off with a grand launch last month; now it's time to give students the tools to stand up against sexual violence.

2FA: Beginning this spring, all faculty and staff members will be required to use two-factor (2FA) authentication to log in to WebAccess, the University's authentication system.

DIVERSITY STATEMENT: With the release of the new Statement on Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence, Penn State is bringing diversity planning to the next level.

PRESIDENTIAL HONOR: President Barack Obama recently named a Penn State marine bioacoustics researcher as a recipient of the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. government for researchers in the early stages of their careers.
