A look back at some of the top stories this week from across Penn State:

Funding Research, Fueling Hope: For the research investigators and physicians who make up the Four Diamonds Pediatric Cancer Research Center at Penn State Children's Hospital, the impact of THON is felt long after the 46-hour dance marathon is over.

46 LIVE: The student-run organization 46 LIVE will be conducting a live webcast to bring THON to viewers around the world this weekend.

2020 Olympic hopeful: Ana Beatriz DiRienzo Bulcão hopes to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and win a medal for Brazil. Bulcão hope to eventually use her business degree from Penn State and experience as an international athlete to help promote fencing in Brazil.

Distinguished professors: Ten faculty members from across the institution have been named distinguished professors for 2019.

Title IX: Penn State joined colleges and universities around the country in providing feedback through several national education associations on proposed changes to Title IX regulations announced by the Department of Education in November.
