This week's top news from across Penn State:

WRESTLING TITLE: The Nittany Lions clinched the 2017 Big Ten regular season championship, finishing the season 13-0.

ALL IN CONFERENCE: Diversity in higher education will be the focus of a day-long University conference that will provide opportunities for faculty, students and employees to learn from and interact with national leaders in the field of educational equity. Registration is open for the the “All In at Penn State Diversity and Inclusion Conference,” which will take place April 18 at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel at University Park.

MUMPS: Penn State University Health Services is reporting that three cases of mumps have been confirmed on the University Park campus. The students were isolated in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Pennsylvania Department of Health protocols and recommendations, and UHS staff have been in touch with those who have been in close contact with the individuals.

NIH GRANT: A $6.1 million, five-year grant from the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases at the National Institutes of Health may help researchers leverage massive amounts of genomic data to develop medical treatments and pharmaceuticals, according to an international team of researchers.

STUDENT FARM CLUB: Penn State Student Farm Club members recently partnered with the region’s sustainable agriculture community by organizing over 30 hours of educational programming about sustainability for elementary school children.

ASKED AND ANSWERED: Penn State leaders are answering your questions. In this week's installment of "Asked and Answered: An Ongoing Discussion," David Gray, senior vice president for finance and business, talks about diversity training.

MISCONDUCT TRAINING: As part of the 18 recommendations to fight sexual assault and sexual harassment on campus endorsed by President Eric Barron, the University has finalized a new training for employees, “Understanding Title IX at Penn State,” which will be launched Feb. 24.
