UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Center for Arts and Crafts is accepting registrations for May art classes and workshops. Classes are open to Penn State students, staff and faculty.
May classes began on May 13 and will run through mid to late June. Some classes include wheel-thrown pottery, character creation and illustration, drawing, and stained glass. In addition, there are workshops such as “paint your own pottery,” ceramic fairy gardens and wine glass painting. Each class is instructed by Penn State art and art education majors and local professional artists.
Students, faculty and staff can register for classes and workshops at the center, located at 3 Ritenour Building, with a valid Penn State ID. Classes and workshops are subsidized for Penn State students courtesy of the student initiated fee, which is offered at reduced fees for those with a valid and current Penn State Student ID.
Registration for July art classes will open in mid to late June and begin on July 8.
