UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — HUB-Robeson Galleries is presenting the Happy Valley Animation Festival (HVAF) 2025, featuring official award-winning selections in the international open and international student animation categories. This chapter of HVAF brings award-winning and official selection works to the HUB Gallery, by celebrating storytelling in motion from around the globe. The HVAF opened on May 1 and runs through May 22. All are welcome to enjoy the festival and experience these films on three screens!
The HVAF is an international competition that showcases compelling animated works by students, early career and practicing professional artists, designers and filmmakers. Works range from animated short films and experimental animation to animated motion graphics and design and push the innate ability of animation to communicate across cultures. Please be aware that some animations may contain mature themes or language and may not be suitable for younger viewers.
The HUB Gallery is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and admission is free for all, always.
