Penn State provides support for students impacted by SNAP benefit interruptions

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State is offering support to students affected by recent interruptions to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

Students experiencing challenges meeting food or basic needs at any campus are encouraged to reach out for help through Student Care and Advocacy. By completing the Basic Needs Assistance Request Form, students can connect with a case manager who will help identify available resources, including campus and community food pantries.

A website with resources and support avenues is available on the Student Care and Advocacy website. This website will continue to be updated with information as resources evolve.

While Penn State does not administer SNAP benefits, the University is committed to helping students navigate this temporary disruption and ensuring access to essential resources.
