UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State’s annual spring housing fair will be held Feb. 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the HUB-Robeson Center Alumni Hall. The fair is open to all students, no registration is required.

The virtual fair will be held Feb. 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. Students interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance.

"The spring housing fair offers a valuable opportunity for students who are still deciding where to live in the upcoming academic year,” said Nick Pazdziorko, interim director of Off-Campus Student Support. “It provides a unique chance for them to directly engage with on-campus housing staff, local landlords, property managers and University representatives."

Both the in-person and virtual fairs will feature housing vendors offering information, discounts and prize drawings. Students making a decision about where to live in the coming year can also visit studentaffairs.psu.edu/housing to learn about options, processes and timelines for on-campus, off-campus and fraternity and sorority options.

Students navigating housing options have a variety of resources to help them make informed decisions:

  • Off-Campus Student Support, a unit in the division of Student Affairs, manages a housing classified website and organizes both fall and spring housing fairs. The office can help students find suitable living options and navigate the housing landscape with confidence.
  • Student Legal Services offers free lease reviews and provides students the opportunity to meet with an attorney prior to signing any agreement to fully understand commitments. Student Legal Services is a unit in the division of Student Affairs that is funded by the Student Initiated Fee.
  • An online education module is available on-demand for students or families interested in learning more about the leasing process.
  • The Solokov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center, a unit of Undergraduate Education, can help students develop a financial plan for living on or off campus.
  • The Housing Assignment Office manages on-campus housing at Penn State. Students currently living on campus are eligible to participate in the LiveOn Housing Process.

The spring housing fair is open to anyone interested in learning about housing options at Penn State, both on and off campus. For additional information visit the Off-Campus Student Support website or reach out via email to offcampus@psu.edu.
