UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. —  Student Farm Club invites students, faculty, staff and community members to get ready for the growing season at its eighth annual plant sale on from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 29. The club is selling hundreds of vegetable plants, succulents and Pennsylvania native plants in Headhouse II on Curtin Road across from the Berkey Creamery on the University Park campus. There will be plenty of plants, so shoppers can stop by any time.

All the vegetable plants have been seeded and raised on campus by Student Farm Club members. Vegetable plants include tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, squash, broccoli, herbs and much more. The Pennsylvania natives are sourced from Tait Farm and offered in partnership with Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center.

Shoppers should bring their own box or bag to carry plants in, as well as cash or check for payment. Pre-orders are not available this year, as the sale is entirely in-person.

To browse a listing of the plants available for sale, visit the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm website.
