UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — On Nov. 9, Penn State Student Affairs placed the Sigma Triton Chapter of Theta Delta Chi fraternity on interim suspension while its Office of Student Conduct investigates allegations of serious misconduct. Theta Delta Chi’s national organization has been notified and is partnering with Student Conduct staff.
The interim suspension is intended to minimize continuing risks while a full investigation is conducted. Conduct sanctions, up to and including suspension, may result depending on the outcome of the student conduct process.
During the interim suspension, Theta Delta Chi loses all privileges otherwise accorded to recognized student organizations at Penn State, including membership recruitment, new member activities, participation in University-wide functions, and hosting social events.
