UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — University Health Services, a unit of Penn State Student Affairs, is administering free primary series (first and second doses) and booster COVID-19 vaccinations for all students in the Student Health Center at University Park.

First and second doses of the Moderna vaccine are readily available for Penn State students on Wednesdays, while booster shots are available on Thursdays and Fridays. Appointments are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Health Center. Students can schedule an appointment via myUHS.

Please note that booster vaccines do not currently have an impact on the weekly testing requirement, which applies to students and employees who have not informed the University that they have been fully vaccinated. Visit Penn State’s COVID-19 website for more information on required testing.

Students who are not able to receive a vaccine on the dates offered through University Health Services can visit a vaccine location in the community. If you receive your vaccine through a community provider, upload your vaccine record through myUHS after you receive both doses. For vaccine locations, enter your zip code on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's vaccines.gov website to find nearby vaccine providers.

Penn State is strongly encouraging all students to get vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 as soon as possible and to share their vaccination status with the University. Students at University Park and the Commonwealth Campuses can upload their vaccination records through myUHS. Penn State employees can upload their vaccine information through Salesforce Health Cloud.

Additional information about the COVID-19 vaccine is available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, on the UHS website, and on Penn State’s official coronavirus information website.
