Campus-Community Clean-UP set for April 16

The culminating event of the Penn State "We Are" campaign's Awareness Month will be the Campus-Community Clean-UP on Saturday, April 16. The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) is hoping to recruit as many organizations and individuals as possible to dedicate an hour of their time to clean up downtown State College and the University Park campus during the April 16 event. Students who volunteer to help will be served breakfast and given a "Posters in Action" t-shirt. Volunteers have two Clean-UP sessions to chose from -- 9:45 a.m.-noon and 12:45 p.m.-3 p.m. -- and will meet at Hintz Alumni Center. The Clean-UP event also will feature an awards ceremony to honor individuals selected as exemplifying the positive messages presented in a wave of "We Are" posters last year.
