UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Lion Ambassadors are hosting a celebratory event to honor the 160th anniversary of the University’s founding.
Celebration activities will take place from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, in the HUB-Robeson Center on the University Park campus of Penn State. All are welcome to attend the free event that commemorates the University’s history. Games, performances, guest speakers, prize giveaways and free food highlight the day’s schedule.
“Founder's Day is one of the most important dates in our University's history. It is a day to honor our Alma Mater and all of the rich traditions we have carried on for centuries,” said Casey Lindlaw, president of the Lion Ambassadors. “Come join us to celebrate Penn State.”
The Penn State Lion Ambassadors, a student group of the Penn State Alumni Association, seeks to instill knowledge and pride in all members of the Penn State community by hosting events focused on different aspects and traditions of Penn State.
