UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The 36th annual Event & Arena Marketing Conference recognized Bernie Punt, marketing director of Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center, with its 2015 Hall of Fame Award last week in Los Angeles.

Criteria for the hall of fame include the impact in the live entertainment industry, support of the Event & Arena Marketing Conference, and influence of marketing trends in the industry.

Bob Howard, general manager of the Bryce Jordan Center said, “Bernie has always had a unique perspective on how to market events in central Pennsylvania, which has caused many of our artist’s managers and promoters to leave here and use these ideas in their other markets. His efforts have been appreciated on a national level for some time now, and it is great he is formally being recognized with this award.”

The Event & Arena Marketing Conference is dedicated to the talented professionals that cross the scope of the live entertainment industry: marketing, publicity, promotions, group sales, live touring shows and arenas.
