University Park, Pa. — The third semester of the Big Apple Express service is coming to a close as students prepare to return home for winter break. After another successful semester, Fullington Bus Tours and Penn State Transportation are getting ready for an increased number of passengers by adding extra days of service to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and New York City.

Teresa Davis, director of Transportation Services, said the service had a great semester and has developed a steady number of riders each weekend.

“Fullington and Penn State are committed to providing students the transportation they need,” she said. “We are running these extra days so students have a convenient way to get home for the holidays.”

Tickets can be ordered online or can be purchased at the Bus Depot at 152 N. Atherton St. in State College and by calling (814) 238-1100 or (814) 238-7971.
