Happy Valley Jam employee/student parking and restrictions announced

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Similar to parking for Penn State Football, event parking for Happy Valley Jam on Saturday, July 8, will be coordinated by Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, and event parking areas near the stadium will be reserved and will require an event parking permit. Penn State faculty/staff and student permits will not be valid in these areas, but can park in other areas of campus. Full details on Happy Valley Jam parking, including a map of the reserved event parking areas, can be found at the Happy Valley Jam website - http://www.happyvalleyjam.com/parking.

All vehicles, including University vehicles, must be removed from the following lots no later than midnight Friday, July 7, in advance of Happy Valley Jam:

-        Jordan East/Lot 44
-        Stadium West
-        Porter North
-        Porter South
-        Orange O Meats Lab
-        Visitor Center
-        Orange L East
-        Yellow V
-        Yellow H South (Pegula)

Normal access to these parking areas will return following the conclusion of Happy Valley Jam outbound traffic.

With the exception of the Yellow H parking area located just south of Pegula Ice Arena, faculty/staff parking permits will be valid in all faculty/staff parking areas lots located west of University Drive on Saturday, and all student permits will be valid in lots west of University Drive normally available to them during weekend hours (see lots highlighted in yellow west of University on student parking map - http://transportation.psu.edu/sites/transportation/files/2016-17_student_parking_map_and_text.pdf).

For visitors arriving on campus on Friday who wish to park overnight, Transportation Services will offer $30 weekend parking permits at the East and Eisenhower decks from 4 p.m. to midnight Friday. These permits will be valid at those two locations only through Sunday. Transportation Services will also offer visitor parking on Saturday at the East and Eisenhower decks for $25 beginning at 8 a.m.
