Transportation Services announces MLK Day holiday service changes

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday, the following changes to Transportation Services office hours, transit services and parking operations will be in effect on Monday, Jan. 15.

  • The Transportation Services office will be closed.
  • Fleet Operations will be closed, with no Fleet vehicle pickup or gas service available.
  • The Bike Den will be closed.
  • There will be no Campus Shuttle service.
  • CATA will be running on their reduced service schedule with no White Loop or Red Link service.

Faculty/staff and student permit holders may park throughout the day in their assigned area and all areas normally available to them during evening/weekend hours, except East, HUB, Nittany and West decks, which will remain available to non-assigned permit holders only after 4 p.m.

Visitor parking will be available at the East, HUB, Nittany and West decks at the rate of $1 per hour.

Overnight parking restrictions between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. for the commuter lots will remain in effect, and all reserved parking spaces such as ADA, service/delivery, etc. will remain reserved.
