University Park, Pa. -- The Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team will have a full slate this weekend, with home matches against Lehigh on Friday, Jan. 7, and against West Virginia and Pittsburgh on Sunday, Jan. 9.
The match vs. Lehigh begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Rec Hall on Penn State's University Park campus, and will feature a schedule magnet giveaway and a Let it Rain pre-match promotion.
Team posters will be given away for Sunday's contests, with the Nittany Lions facing West Virginia at 1 p.m. and Pittsburgh at 3 p.m. A post-match autograph session is scheduled after the Pittsburgh match. In addition, a Red Cross tsunami collection will be taken up between noon and 3 p.m. Sunday.
Those unable to make it to Rec Hall to see the matches in person can watch Webcasts of the Lehigh and Pittsburgh meets on Penn State Live. Go to http://live.psu.edu/ at 7:30 p.m. Friday and at 3 p.m. Sunday, and click on the wrestling photo in the left-hand column to access the live streams of the events. The matches also will air locally in central Pennsylvania on WPSX-TV.
