LEHMAN, Pa. — Penn State Wilkes-Barre Continuing Education will present the Fall Executive Management Series — a follow-up to the Spring Executive Management Series — beginning at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at The Westmoreland Club in Wilkes-Barre.
Daren Coudriet, director of the Nittany AI Alliance and entrepreneur in residence at Penn State, will deliver a keynote presentation focused on artificial intelligence (AI).
The term artificial intelligence is in the press a lot these days. Too often the headlines are around how this technology is going to destroy jobs or even take over the world. This session will introduce some basic concepts of AI and machine learning, while providing business owners some strategies in getting the most from AI in their businesses. Coudriet will begin the session with an overview of AI. As a serial entrepreneur who has built businesses and assisted companies in leveraging disruptive technology throughout his career, he will provide attendees with both a technology and business perspective on this topic. A question-and-answer session will follow.
The cost is $20 per person. Payment in full must be provided at registration. Email, fax or telephone registration must be accompanied by the attendee's credit card information. Five business days will be required to cancel a registration and not incur the registration fee. Substitution for registered participants will be accepted.
