YORK, Pa. — Armed with a doctorate and a microphone, Garrett Evan Bane Thompson, a hip-hop artist/media scholar, will take to the stage with his performance, “Scholar Ambition,” at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 14, at Penn State York’s Pullo Family Performing Arts Center. The program closes out the campus' free cultural series, sponsored by the Penn State York Student Affairs Office. No tickets are needed for the performance.
