YORK, Pa. — Disney’s “Aladdin” and Marvel’s “Avengers Endgame” are the featured films for the drive-in movie at Penn State York, set for 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. The films are free and open to the public.

Movie-lovers can park in the lower parking lot area behind the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center on campus beginning at 6:30 p.m. In case of rain, the movies will be shown on Sunday, Sept. 15.

The event is sponsored by Penn State York’s University Programming Board and has become a campus tradition. Free popcorn will be available while supplies last.

A concession stand featuring drinks, candy and other snacks will be available for $1 per item, with proceeds going to Penn State York Benefiting THON, which supports children battling pediatric cancer.

For those interested in only seeing "Aladdin,” there will be an intermission between movies; “Avengers Endgame” is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:15 p.m.

The production company showing the movies will have its own tuner system, so those who would like to stay in their vehicles and listen to the movie, as per a traditional drive-in experience, can do so.

There also will be a spot set up in front of the parking lot for those attendees who want to relax outside of their car and watch the movies.  Please bring a chair or blanket for outdoor seating.
