Men and Women: Partners At Work (PRO 061)
Provides participants with a better understanding of the dynamics of gender in the workplace. Supervisors, subordinates, and co- workers will learn how to work more effectively by maximizing gender strengths and using specific methods of relating to the opposite gender. Meets 1:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in 319 Rider Building; Cost: $35.

Negaholics: How To Handle Negativity In The Workplace (PRO 062)
Covers "hands-on" strategies for identifying what causes negativity in the workplace and how to successfully overcome it. Participants will have the opportunity to relate personal job experiences to the program and to develop and role play action plans which may then be utilized on the job. Meets for two sessions, 1:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, April 24 and April 26, in 319 Rider Building; Cost: $55.00.

Creativity In The Workplace (PRO 066)
Emphasizes creativity as a part of the problem solving cycle - how to get "outside the box" in finding innovative solutions to workplace problems. Meets 2:45-4:45 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in 319 Rider Building; Cost: $25.00.

Writing, Editing, And Managing Newsletters (COM 030)
Gives the needed tools to approach the "newsletter challenge" as a manageable, enjoyable process. Meets 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, April 29, in 319 Rider Building; Cost: $55.

Case Studies In Process Benchmarking (CQI 029)
Emphasizes the underlying concepts and potential applications of process benchmarking through discussion and comparison of several case studies. Meets 1:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, in 404 Old Main Building; Cost: none.

Facilitation Skills For Leaders (LDR 023)
Designed to provide supervisors and managers with tools and techniques for managing changing organizations through teamwork. Meets 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, in 118 Ag. Science Building; Cost: $55.

Marketing Communications For Beginners (PRO 060)
Introduces participants to the basics of marketing communications. Marketing terms and definitions, campaign strategies and tactics, and marketing tools will be covered. Meets 1-4:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, in 319 Rider Building; Cost: $35.

An Overview Of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI 001)
Offers an introduction to the philosophy of Continuous Quality Improvement. It will help participants to outline the history of CQI, explain the implementation of the CQI process at Penn State and recognize the steps of the CQI problem-solving model. Meets 8:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, in 319 Rider Building; Cost: none.
