Larry King to be live (via satellite) at University Park
Because of international events involving the crisis in Kosovo affecting news coverage, CNN talk show host Larry King is unable to make a live appearance on campus next week to interview Joe and Sue Paterno as had been planned. However, arrangements have been made to conduct the interview via satellite between the Paternos in Eisenhower Auditorium and King in Washington, D.C., at the originally scheduled time of 2:45 p.m. Thursday, April 22.

DUS: 25 years of giving students freedom to explore their interests
The turning point for sophomore Ami Kapadia came when an adviser from the Division of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) suggested she explore several health-related disciplines and gave her the names of faculty members to visit. Today, this biobehavorial health major from Chadds Ford appreciates how DUS advisers help students through attentiveness and knowledge of University programs and policies.

Commencement set at all locations for weekend of May 14
Penn State will hold 1999 spring commencement ceremonies at all of its locations the weekend of May 14 for 732 associate, 6,008 baccalaureate, and 1,501 graduate degree students -- a total of 8,241 graduates systemwide, including 105 with medical degrees, six with master's of law degrees and 165 with juris doctorate degrees.
