MALVERN, Pa. — Penn State Great Valley’s summer exhibit at the Henry Art Gallery, titled “Kaleidoscope: Celebrating Community at Penn State Great Valley,” will open to the public on Tuesday, June 18, and run through Friday, Aug. 30.
About the exhibit: This show is a joyful celebration of what makes each of us unique. Wander through captivating paintings, intricate drawings, mesmerizing watercolors and tactile fiber arts. Each piece offers a unique glimpse into the imagination and skill of our faculty, staff, students, alumni and retirees. Art isn’t just what hangs on the walls — it’s the heartbeat of our shared experience. This exhibit is a testament to the power of creativity and expression, transcending boundaries and weaving together the threads of our collective identity.
In lieu of an opening reception, a closing celebration will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. This is an opportunity to meet the artists, sip sparkling cider, and immerse in the kaleidoscope of colors and forms.
