The Faculty Staff Club
Welcome to the The Faculty Staff Club Web Site. The club was created in 1992 through a cooperative effort of the faculty, staff and administration to provide activities and opportunities to promote collegiality, thoughtful discourse, and foster a sense of community among the faculty and staff of the University.
The club is located at the Nittany Inn on the University Park Campus of Penn State. Throughout the academic year lunches are provided during the work week. Special lunch guests are invited at regular intervals for round table discussions, and various units of the university are showcased during the lunch hour, as part of the Faculty Staff Club's Show Case Days series.
In 1996 the Faculty Staff Club initiated the Penn State Forum Series as one of its major activities, by inviting nationally prominent speakers to present their thoughts and ideas on current topics. The series has become a Penn State tradition, which brings faculty and staff together, on several occasions during each semester, in order to share lunch and thought provoking presentations
As occasions arise the FSC club also sponsors evening events and dinners, often on theme topics. These are held at the club suite in the Nittany Lion Inn.
