News around the PSUAC...

2010 PSUAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championship Dates Pushed Back a Week
2/7/10-  Due to the record breaking snow fall that fell across the state of Pennsylvania, the dates for the men's and women's 2010 PSUAC Basketball play-offs have been pushed back week.  The first round will take place 2/21 & 2/22 with the games being hosted by the higher seed.  The final four will now take place February 27th and 28th.  At the time, I was reluctant to change the dates because I always feel that it is important to stay with the original schedule, but I still have a concern that if more bad weather comes, we may run out of time to get all games in.  After hearing concerns about playing so many games next week, including cross state competitions where our student-athletes would be missing numerous classes, it seemed most prudent to move the PSUAC championships to February 27th and 28th.", said Commissioner John Fritz.
