Dr. Amy Freeman and Dr. Javier Gomez-Calderon presented information from the NSF Toys’n More project at a math education conference held at the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City in December 2009. The conference focused on math instruction strategies and retention methods that effectively increase the numbers of students graduating in math-based fields. The international venue provided a rich forum in which to share information on the enhancement of math education.
